The Huskies scored seven goals, but only one came on a power play opportunity. "In our first game, people seemed to be nervous and afraid to help out on defense because they didn't want to get blamed, saiil Mark Adams, a junior transfer from the Air Force Academy. Adams si ored three goals in the two games for the Ducks. "As a team for the first week, we were OK, " Oregon head coach Paul Ruthurford said Ins team gave a solid effort and keyed in on hockey but still has room for improvement. "We need to play much stronger at our end." Ruthurford said. "We need to capitalize on oppor tunities, communicate and support each other more.” This is the first year Puget Sound lias organized a hockey team, so the Ducks are hoping to take it to them. Also returning are sophomore Wise Adams and junior Kara Yoshida, who won 25 and 18 match es respectively last year. Think Again. l ■., ,, - • ' ‘ M • • I 1 * 1 • • t A «.
